Clarke Tucker, Attorney

Born and raised in Little Rock, Clarke is excited to be opening the Little Rock office of the Bailey & Oliver Law Firm.  Clarke is an eighth-generation Arkansan, and all sixteen of Clarke’s great-great-grandparents were Arkansans.  Clarke loves the state and truly has a passion for representing the people of Arkansas in his law practice.

Clarke graduated from historic Little Rock Central High in 1999, where he served as President of the Student Body.  Clarke also served a term as President of Little Rock Central High's Alumni Association in 2009.

After high school, Clarke attended college at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, where he served as President of the Institute of Politics, a non-partisan organization founded by Bobby and Jacqueline Kennedy after President Kennedy’s assassination to inspire young people to enter into careers of politics and public service.

Clarke then returned home for law school at the University of Arkansas, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2006.  In law school, Clarke served as Editor-in-Chief of the Arkansas Law Review.  Clarke was also champion of the Ben J. Altheimer Moot Court Competition, where he was named the top individual oralist in both the preliminary and final rounds.  Together, Clarke and Sach also won trial competitions at the local, regional, and national levels.

After law school, Clarke proudly served as law clerk to the Honorable J. Leon Holmes, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to his practice, Clarke serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law where he teaches a course on law and politics.  Clarke is also a member of the Greater Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, the Pulaski County Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Association of Justice.  Clarke continues to serve on the Little Rock Central High Alumni Association's Board of Directors and is a volunteer coach with the Central High Mock Trial Team.  Clarke is also a fifth generation member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Little Rock where he is currently serving as Co-Chairman of the Every Member Canvass.  Clarke also serves on the City of Little Rock's Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission.
