We’ve all been told, “Life is a marathon, not a sprint.” At Bailey & Oliver, we take this same concept and apply it to every case that we handle. We pride ourselves on using preparation as a cornerstone of our methodology.
A marathon, like a trial, is not something that we prepare for a week, or even two weeks beforehand. From the moment you walk in the door, we start preparing. We take our time and have a process that helps not only us, but more importantly, our clients, feel ready to tackle the next hurdle in the case. This ensures that our clients never walk into a trial, deposition, or hearing without complete confidence.
We accomplish this by breaking down barriers. In every case, we put ourselves in your shoes and try to imagine the litigation process from a client’s perspective. While this may be our 4,000th “marathon”, we always remember that as a client, this may be your first. This is why we never skip a preparation step.
We always want to understand where you’re coming from, and to instill confidence every step of the way. Before any deposition, trial, or hearing, we take the time to sit down with our clients and give them a safe space to voice any concerns they may have. No concern is too trivial. No question is too silly.
We want you to know every twist, turn, and bump in this course so that when you get out and start running, there are no surprises.
This style of preparation is not founded just in theory. Mr. Bailey has practical experience. He has run 8 marathons, each of which he starts preparing for 6 months beforehand. “A key component of preparation,” he says, “is having someone else to run with. It keeps you on track in your plan.” This is why we always make sure you know that we are with you throughout the entire process. We are your buddy in this system.
A trial is a marathon and not a sprint and we will take our time to ensure that you are prepared. We invite you to put your trust in us here at Bailey & Oliver so that you are ready for whatever lies ahead.
