Geoff is a born and bred Arkansan who grew up in Van Buren. Throughout grade school Geoff dreamed of being everything from a professional athlete to a fighter pilot. Amongst these dreams was the dream of being a lawyer. Geoff loved history, particularly U.S. History, and was amazed at how lawyers helped shape the face of our nation. He decided then that he wanted to become a lawyer to help influence the world for good.
At Van Buren Senior High School, Geoff was on the football team, golf team, National Honor Society, FCA, and several other extracurricular organizations before graduating with highest honors and moving to Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas. While there, Geoff did not miss a single home football game and attended as many other sporting events as he could. He was also the President of Chi Alpha for two consecutive terms. Geoff graduated with a B.A. in Political Science in 2012 and earned early acceptance into the University of Arkansas School of Law.
During law school Geoff was on the Dean’s List every semester, a member of the Christian Legal Society, the Public Relations Officer of the Student Bar Association, organized the Law School golf tournament fundraiser for JLAP, won the 2014 Bailey & Oliver Closing Argument Competition, and had the honor of representing the Law School in two different nation-wide trial competitions. Geoff graduated magna cum laude in May of 2015 and went on to take and pass the Arkansas Bar the following July.
While in his second year of law school Geoff married the love of his life, Moriah, who is a 7th grade teacher at Fulbright Jr. High in Bentonville. The two of them have settled down in Rogers and look to make it their long-term home. When Geoff isn’t with Moriah or working he enjoys playing golf, travelling, and leading a small group at his church. Geoff plays golf to a scratch handicap and has represented Bailey & Oliver in numerous golf tournaments. Recently he made a hole-in-one (his third hole-in-one) at the Benton County Police Athletic League Tournament and took home a brand new Harley Davidson.
Geoff joined Bailey & Oliver as a clerk in January of 2014 and remained with the team as a trial attorney. His favorite part of working for Bailey & Oliver is “having the ability to get to know our clients and really see how we are having a positive impact on their lives.”
