She maintains the firm’s social websites, plans and executes special events, participates in community activities and fundraising events and creates gift baskets for clients and friends of the firm. Kim also coordinates the Bailey & Oliver Auction Team. Attorney and Auctioneer Sach Oliver and the Auction Team participate in live auctions during local charity events.
Kim grew up in a small central Arkansas town where she developed her love of country living. Her extended family was a big part of her daily life. Her grandparents lived down the road, and Kim spent all her free time hanging out at their house and farm. Kim has always loved animals, and she and her husband Dale have a small farm in rural Northwest Arkansas, where they raise Tennessee Walking Horses. There are also three dogs and two cats to help around the farm.
After completing her sophomore year at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), Kim joined the international musical group Up with People as a principal dancer. During her year with the group she traveled and performed in 17 states and 7 countries, staying with host families along the way.
Following Up with People, Kim returned to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, Theatre and Journalism with an emphasis in Mass Communications from UCA.
As a child, Kim attended livestock auctions with her Grandfather, and was fascinated with the fast-talking auctioneer. All her life she wanted to be an auctioneer. In 2016 Kim graduated from the American Auction Academy and in 2018 won the Arkansas Auctioneer's Association's Bid Calling Championship, Rookie Division. She continued her training in 2019, graduating from the Professional Ringman's Institute. The Professional Ringmen’s Institute is the only Training Institute in the Nation dedicated totally to training and preparing individuals to serve the auction industry professionally and effectively as ringmen or bid assistants for their auction teams for any type of auction with any auctioneer. Along with being the Community Relations Director for Bailey & Oliver, she is a Benefit Auctioneer, using her auctioneer and ringman training to help raise money for nonprofit organizations. As a member of the Arkansas Auctioneer’s Association (AAA) and the National Auctioneer’s Association (NAA), she participates in specialized training for benefit auctioneers.
When Kim is not at work or attending an auction, you can find her at home on the farm with her family or at a thrift store or estate auction, hunting for treasures. She loves antiques and cooking, especially different kinds of bread. A strong advocate for volunteering, Kim has spent countless hours volunteering time to her church, her daughter’s schools, the American Cancer Society and other charitable causes. In January of 2020, Kim participated in a humanitarian trip to Hanoi, Vietnam with the American Wheelchair Mission. She volunteered her time with a group of 18 others from Northwest Arkansas, distributing brand new, free wheelchairs to physically disabled children, teens and adults living in villages near Hanoi. (The trip was sponsored by Joe & Larra Donaldson and Sam’s Furniture, Springdale, AR.)
Dale and Kim have one daughter and one grandchild. Together, Kim and Dale enjoy horseback riding, playing with their 3 dogs (2 Labrador sisters and an adopted rescue dog), 2 barn cats, Razorback sports and spending time together on their farm.
